On Sunday morning her family informed her that her girl and car were missing. This report was made at around 9:00 am. This led the Bedford Police to release a lookout for the girl in haste.
Police took turns carrying out door to door search in the area where she was residing. They then proceeded on how to collect from residents. They got lucky when one of the individuals from the next door houses allowed them to have the CCTV recordings.
The incredible scenes exposed the young girl driving alone in the car and drove away. Police went onto the roads in search of her but failed to see her behind the wheel. But the recordings from the security cameras installed on the roads gave a brief look at her behind the wheel.
It was not until the policemen took their search to the Target store in Bainbridge that they got her. The girl was there, the police saw her and she was not injured at all. There has not been any data on what she purchased and whether she was able to use the shopping app to the latter extent.
Fortunately the police was able to secure her and take her back to her family from the store. Bedford Police has, therefore, assured her safe arrival back home through their statement.
The girl was driving well to the store she was just reckless enough to knock just one mailbox during the drive. Thankfully, nobody got hurt miraculously. This ugly incident that happened in Bedford, Ohio, Target store should be a wakeup call for parents to check on their car’s security and teach children about traffic laws.
The community is coming out of this whole thing with a sigh of relief. The parents are thankful to the Bedford police for the release of the girl. The incident continues being debated with issues of child safety, responsibility, and childcare as well as locking car doors to prevent wrong hands from accessing them.
The police made a post, informing that they let the girl drink her Frappuccino before taking her. They have also said that since the girl’s young, no charge will be preferred against her but the matter is still under investigation!
