US Representative Victoria Spartz from Indiana has gone on record to make a shocking revelation: she will no longer work with the House GOP Congress. This comes at the back of a change of heart of Ms. Spartz, who had declined to seek reelection at the start of the month.
Congresswoman Spartz, who was born in Ukraine, has always opposed socialism and has argued for a small-scale role for the government. The fact that she grew up in Ukraine during Soviet times has greatly shaped her political orientation.
Spartz has also been serving the US House Republican Caucus’s Health Care Task Force’s Affordability Subcommittee to ensure minimum healthcare costs. She has also sponsored bills to help the Federal Trade Commission prevent anti-competitive behaviour in health care.

Spartz has also supported Ukraine in their fight against Russia. She has condemned the Russian leader Vladimir Putin and has called for more assistance to Ukraine. Nevertheless, to the world’s astonishment, Spartz has recently opposed a $60 billion aid package for Ukraine.
It remains to be seen how the decision not to work with the House GOP Congress would be for Spartz’s political career. Whether this decision was made due to the rest of her concerns that she voiced recently after the GOP leadership remains unknown.
Of course, Spartz has been rather vocal in her opinions and has not missed an opportunity to voice her disapproval of her party. It is noteworthy that she has decided not to work with the House GOP Congress, which may also be an indication of her rebellion against the men.
