Country music’s biggest stars turned out at the CMA Awards 2024 on Wednesday night. Country music sensation, Wilson, shared hosting duties with talented singer Luke Bryan and Superbowl winner Peyton Manning.

Chris Stapleton was the evening’s biggest winner walking away with three awards, including the Single of the Year, ‘White Horse’, song of the Year, and Male Vocalist of the Year. Saturday night’s entertainer of the year went to Morgan Wallen. Still, Cody Johnson took album of the year for Leather.
This was a win that made it 15 in a series in the vocal duo/trio of the year category for Brooks & Dunn. It was the first CMA Award win for Megan Moroney taking New Artist of the Year Meanwhile, Riley Green and Ella Langley took the Musical Event of the Year for ‘You Look Like You Love Me.’
Besides the award recipients, some of the most memorable moments of this year’s show were richer acts from musicians from all genres from the golden idols to the breakthrough performers. The show focused and brought together a blend of country music, from Texas-style honky-tonk, soul, and rock where the music veers toward the bluegrass.
Several of this year’s performances were duets, such as Kelsea Ballerini singing with Noah Kahan, Post Malone with Chris Stapleton, and Jelly Roll with Brooks & Dunn performing the powerful gospel version of Brooks & Dunn’s “Believe” from their recent Reboot II album. Plus, Dierks Bentley played alongside a trio of bluegrass music luminaries: Molly Tuttle, Sierra Hull, and Bronwyn Keith-Hynes.
Some of the highest-rated performances also came from artist tributes and other singers: Ashley McBryde singing in honor of singer-songwriter Kris Kristofferson.
During this week’s CMA Awards, George Strait received his 2024 CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award Shelton was joined by Jamey Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Parker McCollum, Chris Stapleton, and Lainey Wilson.
Eric Church brought awareness regarding those affected by the deadly hurricane, Helene, via his performance “Darkest Hour.”
All the artists added a tinge of uniqueness to the 2024 CMA awards through their presence, talent, and creativity. All the CMA Awards performances were exceptional and won the hearts of the audience.
