Scott's unlikely Touchdown Reception steals the show on Monday Night!

Jayden Daniels led the Washington Commanders to a clear-cut victory—a 38-33 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. He scored his first NFL touchdown by throwing to an unexpected player—an offensive lineman and HBCU alumnus. This impressed the audience. However, no information could be found on who this lineman is.

Early in the third quarter, Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels caught the Cincinnati Bengals off guard with a pass to an unlikely target – the now-infamous offensive lineman Trent Scott.

Scott’s main duty is defending Daniels, so he was very exposed in the red zone. The very good trick play expected by the coaching headed by Coach Dan Quinn materialized, resulting in the Commanders rolling to a piece-of-cake touchdown that gave them a comfortable lead.

Trent Scott was Awarded as the Washington Commanders’ off-shine lineman in the primetime game, and his success story is not limited to his NFL career or days. The first step toward the achievement was taken during Scott’s collegiate years at Grambling State University between 2013 and 2017.

At Grambling, Scott dominated as an offensive tackle, with zero sacks on his quarterback, 32 knockdowns and 39 pancake blocks.

Scott’s exceptional play helped star quarterback Devante Kincade lead the Tigers.

The Tigers had two SWAC Championships (2016 and 2017).
2016 Celebration Bowl with the Scott with a close 10-9. They made it to the 2017 Celebration Bowl but got defeated by the North Carolina A&T Aggies.

This March, Scott came to a two-year contract with his present team, the Washington Commanders.
Scott gave his best performance for the Monday Night Football game where he received a pass from none other than Jayden Daniels, the Heisman Trophy winner. It was Daniel’s first touchdown pass and the first touchdown reception of Scott. Scott was seen happy over it as he danced and celebrated with his teammates.

But, this achievement of his will always be a memorable highlight in his incredible career in football.
