Tulsi Gabbard has broken the record by being the first Hindu woman who be elected to the U.S. Congress. She has officially joined the Republican Party. It was at the Donald Trump rally at Greensboro in North Carolina where she announced this.
This rally can be seen as a crucial swing state in the upcoming presidential election. Gabbard has always been known as a trailblazing American politician. She has been a U.S. Army Reserve Officer and quite a conservative political commentator.
Her impressive background gave an edge to her political career. She belonged to the Democratic Party till October 2022. She declared herself as an independent politician. Later, she joined the Republican Party and endorsed Trump for the 2024 Presidential Elections. She aims to transform it and bring it back to the reputation of being a party of the people and peace.
The audience applauded her decision, and Trump showed his approval with a smile and a clap. She goes on to announce her joining the Republican Party, which she calls the party of the people, quality, and the one that was founded to fight against and end slavery in this country.
She also calls it a party of common sense and compliments the president of the party as being one full of courage and strength to fight for peace and justice.
Gabbard did not choose to run again for her House seat in 2020. She preferred to join the crowded Democratic primary. President Biden won the nomination that year and also the presidency.
She was also an active Democrat who voted “present” when Trump was impeached in 2019. Things have changed now! Tulsi Gabbard says she’s joining the GOP, and this has resulted in an uproar among the spectators as they eagerly wait to witness a new era in American politics.
