Liam Payne, an ex-member of the One Direction boy band, has died of fatal injuries after he plunged from the third story of a hotel in Buenos Aires, recent reports indicate. He was 31.
 
His death happened on Wednesday at a hotel located on Costa Rica Street in the Palermo neighborhood as per the police report obtained by CNN.
 
According to Buenos Aires police, people from the 14B Police Station arrived at the hotel on Wednesday afternoon because of a 911 call about an aggressive man who may be on drugs or alcohol. The police statement neither pointed towards that person as being Payne.

Fan screenshots and videos posted from the show on October 2nd showed Payne watching his former bandmate Niall Horan perform in Argentina.
 
In recent Snapchat videos, the former One Direction member had recently turned 31 years old while in the UK. Payne grew up in the city of Wolverhampton in West Midlands and has two siblings. He is a City of Wolverhampton College dropout who took a course in music technology.
 
Payne was a singer and dancer and rose to fame as a part of the British singing boy band One Direction. The band, which also comprised Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Horan, began in 2010 after every member auditioned in the UK version of the talent competition show “The X Factor.”

“I do love being on stage”, Payne said about singing and songwriting along with his group in an interview with Entertainment Weekly in 2015. He said he was most proud of co-writing their song “What a Feeling”

In 2023, he also expressed his love for his son in a YouTube video. 
It is shocking to believe that this rockstar is dead at 31! However, his music will live forever in people’s hearts, and so will he!
